My name is Stephen and I'm an experienced Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) supporting people who struggle with low self esteem, Body Dysmorphic Disorder and muscle dysmorphia. I work with clients in the Glasgow area face to face/online or online anywhere in the UK. 


Do you feel worthless and that you are unlikeable or unlovable? If so, you may be suffering from low self-esteem. Feeling this way about yourself can make it incredibly difficult in your day to day life. You may have constant feelings of not being good enough or not worthy of love. 

Low self-esteem is treatable. Through evidence-based CBT, we can work together to understand the patterns keeping you stuck and build healthier, more compassionate beliefs about yourself. CBT helps you learn practical tools to challenge negative thinking and develop lasting confidence.

As someone who has suffered from low self-esteem, I understand the pain that this can cause. However, it is possible to change and alter the thoughts about yourself to more positive ones. 

I have helped people change their belief about themselves and the transformation by the end of therapy can be remarkable.

I pride myself on being down to earth which I believe makes me approachable and empathetic. I don't use jargon, just real talk.
